TurfTech Yarn: 

Our yarn is manufactured in the US and Mexico to exacting specifications and batch tested to ensure top performance.

 

Many of our products feature the TurfTech OmegaSigma Special Blend Yarn. This Polyethylene fiber is a blend of two specific cross sections. The Omega or "U" shape and the Sigma or "S" shape. The blending of the two fibers increases the durability, improves the texture and feel of the turf and gives it a more realistic look.

TurfTech Backing System:

Most TurfTech artificial lawn products come with our TT RELEASE backing. This two-part backing system is perforated to allow a minimum of 30" of water per hour to drain through the turf.

The primary backing is a woven 15/18 PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) that hold the tufted rows of artificial turf fibers. The secondary backing is a 20oz Polyurethane coating that permanently binds the tufted fibers to the backing and adds durability to product.
